Travels

--------------------
...and the collective sigh of relief falls aross the northern end like the breeze of a summer's moon whisping the trees to sway as if a bird was gliding on a path to nowhere.

>Flashbacks?

What are flashbacks, but yet our previous life reaching forward and seeing into the future? The future of all our previous generations come from those before us. Our future will be shaped by them, as we have shaped theirs.

The physical realm is yet to be explored - what we see today, here, around us, is nothing but someone else's dream.

--------------------
It is safe to explore - wonder is what we've lost along with our youth.

We come into adulthood without noticing how this life passes us by at a rate faster than we approach our next escapement. It leaves us puzzled, without even the knowledge of what questions to ask in order to get answers that will help fullfill our purpose.

Our life's energy will move on through this existance, on a path constantly looking for words to settle our subconscious.

Some go insane at chasing answers that may not exist. Other's continue on in this plane with a smile and a nod to those who look beyond our outter facade.

>Hemmingway?
I last saw my friend Ernest - we were cohorts in a past life - many moons ago.

I haven't spoken with him in a while... I may have to seek him out on my next set of travels.

There are journey's and travels... Journey's have a destination, where travels do not. Travels are escapes from the present days chores, a wandering off into a world were you may not be experienced, though safety is not an issue. As one travels, you may inspire new outlooks on those lives that you touch. There will be those that become engaged in your ways, those that will not, but all will spend at least a brief amount of time in your space.

The traveler will continue on.. enjoying the company as it comes, understanding as it fades.

And then the traveler will again be alone - at the end of this travel, yet fully engaged in his journey.

--------------------
The day comes to an end for me now... The call of the new sun will be soon enough. In the time between comes rest, for my travels have taken me far this day.

I thirst for more words to come to me - and they may in the mere minutes before sleep.

There is always more to explore - an explorer never finds complete rest, as travels occur in the darkness of the mind as well.
